On Friday, January 24th, the JV Patriots attended the Bellevue East wrestling tournament.  Although the number of teams was down from previous years, there was no shortage of talent on the mats.  10 Patriots were able to medal at the event, and 6 of the 10 earned first place.  Seeing his first JV 1 tournament of the year, Brandon Tvrdy was able to go from the 6th seed, to the finals, to a runner-up medal.  3 wrestlers were able to make it through the wrestle back rounds all the way to earn 3rd place after a loss in the semi-final round.

Even though the Patriots did not have a full line-up for this tournament, they were able to dominate on the mats and that turned into an easy team victory.  The Patriots were out-distanced the two Bellevue schools by 95 points.
